2025 Live Results - Field events will show up live, but they will not be official until paper copies are turned in.

Map to Ott Center - All shot put will be contested indoors at the Ott Center. There is a conflict pit for athletes with conflicts with other field or running events from 4:15pm - 5pm. An approved list has been sent out to coaches with these athletes listed. Please contact your region commissioner if you have not received the list.

Batons will be provided for all relays.

Saturday x Grand Slam Track

Coaches of DMR & 4x400 Relays & 100m finalists will receive their athlete wrist band & ticket packets in the stadium on Thursday night after the 100m prelims are completed and certified.

Medals will be awarded on Thursday for all events contested Thursday. Medals & Team Trophies will be distributed followed the end of the Boys 4x400m heats on Saturday.

Commemorative t-shirts will be for sale on Thursday night only for $15. Venmo payment only.

2025 CYO Track & Field Season Updates

2025 Approved Mergers

This year, CYO Track & Field has been invited to participate with the new professional track league - Grand Slam Track. GST is coming to Philadelphia and running at Franklin Field the same weekend we traditionally contest the Archdiocesan Championship meet. It is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a meet set up for and headlined by some of the best athletes in professional & Olympic track & field.

This has caused some major changes to the Archdiocesan Champs timing and structure. We will run the majority of the meet on Thursday, May 29th from 5pm - 9:30pm. 3 event finals will be contested on Saturday, May 31st prior to the the Grand Slam Track meet events - 100m finals, Co-Ed Distance Medley Relay, and Open 4x400m relays.

The following is planned AOP Champs:

Shot Put will be contested at the Ott Center Indoor Track & Field facility.
We will have a conflict flight for athletes with event conflicts who are contesting Shot Put beginning at 4:15pm. See updated event conflict rules in the track packet.
4x200ms will be contested entirely in lanes using a 4 turn stagger over 2 heats per age groups.
4x400ms will be run using 3 turn stagger instead of waterfall start.
1600m races will have a second row of athletes at the common start finish (currently assuming seeds 18 - 24).
800m races will be contested over 2 heats of 12 instead of one heat of 24.
Only 8 athletes will advance to the final in the 100 meter. (We have been advancing 9 in recent years since we had 9 lanes).
The only entrance to the track will be from the 100m starting area. All other areas will be closed off.

Coaches Meeting at 8:45am at the finish line.

The stadium will OPEN at 8am to athletes, coaches, and spectators. The track will open at 8am as well. Entrance to the stadium will be on the South Street side of Franklin Field (like CYO Night at the Penn Relays). Please follow the restrictions on items you can enter the stadium with.

***The Bridge to Penn Park will be closed***

Seating will be in the South, East, and North Stands - all the way around the track.

Shot Put will be contested on the in-field.

Commemorative t-shirts will be for sale for $15. Cash, check to AOP CYO Track & Field, or Venmo payment options available

Medals must be picked up at the meet. Medals that are not picked up will be forfeited.

Results will stream live online, they will not be physically posted at the site.

Team trophies / awards will be presented to the top 3 overall boys and girls teams, as well as the age group team champion.
