The mission of CYO sports is to help develop our Catholic youth through healthy & enjoyable competition. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of many people, past and present, Philadelphia CYO track & field and cross country have grown to be among of the largest and most competitive programs in America. This is not an official website of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Terence O'Connell is solely responsible for the content of this blog.

XC Meet - Sunday 10/6 Cancelled!
Some of you may be aware that
the high school races at the Paul Short Run were cancelled yesterday due
to "excessive heat." A large number of collegiate athletes went down during their races and concerns about runner safety are high today. Because of yesterdays events and the concern for high
temperatures and high humidity today, a large number of CYO teams are
cancelling for today. We have concerns about the ability to man all the
marshaling positions with the decreased number of teams today.
Enjoy your day off!
