The mission of CYO sports is to help develop our Catholic youth through healthy & enjoyable competition. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of many people, past and present, Philadelphia CYO track & field and cross country have grown to be among of the largest and most competitive programs in America.

2011 XC Packet & Biker Plea

I have posted a link to the 2011 CYO Cross Country Packet (includes great information such as rostering rules, important dates, competition rules, and postseason information) on the links menu to the right.

Volunteers to ride the bike each week are needed! One of our main bike riders from last year has graduated and moved onto college, and won't be available every weekend. Right now we have no guaranteed biker.  A competent biker rider is essential to the safety and well being of your athletes!  Preferably we would like 2 bike riders who could commit to being at the Plateau for all of the races. Having 2 riders speeds up the meet (we can send off races once the path to the woods is clear after each race) and eases the burden on easily the most taxing job come race day.

If you are interested in volunteering to ride the bike, email Mary Ellen Malloy - sunrisexc@aol.com and let her know.

We are working on getting course maps online, once they are ready, I will post them.
